Periosteal and endosteal cortical thickening confined to a single sclerotome. Classic description is “dripping candle wax” appearance


Answer: Melorheostosis

It is interesting to note that patient’s can be symptomatic as the disease tends to be progressive over time yielding contractures and deformities
