Season 8 Case 14

Season 8 Nov 15, 2019

History: chest pain

Case 14 Answer:   Achalasia

Right paravertebral mass that does not obscure the heart border but follows the course of a dilated esophagus on both the frontal and lateral views.

I don’t have the barium swallow for proof but this patient had a known history of primary achalasia
