Season 8 Case 15

History: Abdominal pain starting this morning

Answer: Bilateral ovarian dermoid cysts with Right ovarian torsion

We see bilateral fat containing ovarian masses consistent with overian dermoid cysts (mature teratomas). But there is fluid in the Right lower quadrant and notice the position of the right ovary, it’s sitting on the uterine fundus which is ABnormal.

The US was tough because of the masses but in the end the patient went to surgery confirming right ovarian torsion
