History: Buttock Pain



Answer:  Hidradenitis suppurativa 

inflammation of the apocrine glands - seen in buttocks, groin, axilla, infra-mammary 

 inflammation -> abscesses -> sinus tracts 

Look for: Marked skin thickening and subdermal inflammation sometimes with visible sinus tracts and fluid collections/abscesses
